Flange is a metal structure used to connect pipe fittings or mechanical components. In order to obtain a better use effect, the following points should be observed when using the flange:
1. Before setting, the pipeline should be cleaned in advance to ensure that there is no dirt inside the pipeline during installation.
2. After the setting is completed, all bolts should be tightened to ensure its strength and sealing performance.
3. It should be set in a clean and dry environment to avoid moisture and damage its performance.
4. On the pipeline bayonet, high-quality screws, washers and other fasteners should be used to ensure its sealing.
5. The opposite ends of the pipeline should maintain a certain distance to ensure that the fasteners are tightened.
6. The cavity of the pipe connection should be filled with organic lubricant to ensure the perfect sealing.
7. For stress-sensing fasteners, a tightening wrench should be used to ensure the tightening effect.
8. If the flange setting is completed, water seal test and air seal test shall be carried out to ensure the sealing performance of the flange.
9. For flanges used to transport explosive and flammable materials, materials with good explosion resistance should be used to withstand high temperature heat waves in the event of a fire.
In the use of the process, should regularly check its connection, in order to detect whether the fastener is loose, to avoid leakage due to loose.
The following points should be noted when using flanges:
1. The correct technology should be used to set up the product, and bolts should be installed correctly.
2. When connecting, you need to use suitable mechanical parts.
3. It should be set in a flat, no gap place to avoid friction damage to the flange.
4. When setting, pay attention to controlling the torque of the bolt to avoid damaging the tightness of the bolt.
5. When in use, should keep the shell clean, in the case of rust, should be timely cleaning the shell, do not let the rust accumulation, harmful to its performance.
6. The contact surface should be polished before setting to improve tightness and corrosion resistance.
7. Try to avoid polluting it, and pay attention to cleaning when setting it up.
8. Do not disassemble it repeatedly, so as not to damage the structure of the flange.
9. Do not expose it to high temperature or high pressure conditions, so as not to affect the performance of the flange.
10. After setting, check whether the glue joint is loose or there is water leakage. If there is, it should be replaced or fastened in time to prevent leakage from causing damage to the pipeline system.
